2 Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website, submitting an enquiry or completing an application form, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
If you use this website on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf, and "you" means both you and that organisation.
3 Nothing here is an offer
This website is information only. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, a solicitation to buy, or a commitment to supply any commodity, at any price, in any quantity.
Product listings, specifications, pricing bases, premiums and conversion factors are published as general reference material. They do not constitute a quotation.
We are bound only when a written contract for a specific transaction is signed by an authorised officer of ME Global Trading. No enquiry, application, indicative quotation, email exchange or verbal discussion creates a binding obligation on us.
4 Pricing and market information
Where we refer to exchange settlements, published assessments, regional premiums or conversion factors, those references are indicative and are provided to explain how a delivered price is constructed.
- We do not republish London Metal Exchange settlement data, or Platts, Argus or other assessments, which are licensed by their respective owners.
- Conversion factors shown are industry-standard figures. Contractual quantities are determined by density and quantity at test, and by the inspection regime agreed in the relevant contract.
- Firm pricing is given only in a written quotation for a specific parcel, and is valid only for the period stated in it.
Commodity markets move. Any figure on this website may be out of date at the time you read it, and we do not undertake to update it.
5 Enquiries and applications
When you submit an application or enquiry, you agree that:
- the information you provide is true, accurate and complete, and you will tell us promptly if it changes;
- we may verify the information, including through public registers, credit and sanctions screening databases, banks and trade references you nominate;
- we may decline any application or enquiry at our discretion, and we are not obliged to give reasons; and
- submitting an application does not create any trading relationship or entitle you to a quotation.
Information you submit is handled in accordance with our Outlook · Privacy Policy.
6 Sanctions, export control and compliance
We will not participate in a transaction that we consider would breach sanctions, export control or anti-money-laundering obligations, and we may withdraw from a transaction at any stage if a compliance concern arises.
By dealing with us, you represent and warrant that neither you, your organisation, its directors, nor its beneficial owners are:
- listed on, owned or controlled by a person listed on any sanctions list maintained by Australia (including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control; or
- acting for or on behalf of such a person.
Where goods are subject to export control or permit requirements, including security technology, you agree to provide end-user documentation and to confirm the final destination and intended use, and not to divert or re-export the goods contrary to those controls.
You must tell us immediately if any of these representations stops being true.

- submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, or impersonate another person or organisation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems or any data held in them;
- introduce malicious code, or interfere with the operation or security of the website; or
- extract, scrape or systematically collect content from the website for commercial purposes.
8 Intellectual property

9 Third-party links
This website links to external sites, including registers and exchanges, so you can verify information independently. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link is not an endorsement.

- we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or economic loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of anticipated savings.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that applies under the Australian Consumer Law or other law and cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
11 Indemnity
You indemnify us against any loss, damage, cost or liability we suffer arising from your breach of these terms, your provision of false or misleading information, or your breach of any sanctions, export control or other legal obligation.
